Hannu J. Hyvärinen was born in Finland. Since childhood he has thought about imagery in a surrealistic way. His art has been born through his inner self, his dreams and spiritual experiences.
He is self-taught, and his work is a strongly metaphorical. His imagery is the result of a long process, revealing an image of the subconscious mind through the use of intense symbolism.
